Ryan Spiteri runs Onest Health and he reached out to us to level up his Facebook advertising strategy. After the initial call, we discussed his promotion strategy and the new product line he was preparing to launch.
The challenge was to promote his protein supplement product line with a clean, organic-focused approach. We wanted to capture the brand essence of fitness and sports athletes and reach his ideal audience in Australia and the US.
The first step was to do some initial research and see what keywords we could tap into in order to align with the best sports topic and trends.
We did some brainstorming on campaign concepts and worked through the Attracting New Subscribers module of the NextLaunch Accelerator.
To map out the potential concepts we created a campaign diagram and detailed the strategy.
Throughout this process we decided to create 2 campaigns that would generate leads and convert them with re-targeting.
The first campaign was a viral giveaway campaign...
We had Ryan shoot a short video of himself asking leads to sign up for a raffle giveaway by asking the audience to create a short video and share it on social media.
This helped drive engagement and generate leads. It was an essential component of our 2-part campaign strategy that focused producing traffic at the top of the funnel.
We also wanted to run a set of standard image ads at the top of funnel, so we created an image collage in a few different colors. This helps us A/B test which ad variants work best and generate the best engagement.
The next campaign was a video re-targeting campaign that focused on closing the sale and getting leads back to the store to complete a purchase. We wanted to highlight the athlete and show the product in action.
After just a few months of optimizing the campaigns using Revealbot's ads automation and setting up automated re-targeting, we were able to boost revenue from $1,000/m to $47,000/m.
